Not in Bible

Mathew 27:⁹Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; ¹⁰And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.

There is no verse that spoke of such a thing in Jeremiah. There is no verse that talked of anything even remotely close to this in the entire book of Jeremiah. The closest parallel is found in Zechariah chapter 11, verses 12 and 13.

Mark 1:2 As it is written in the prophet Isaiah, ‘See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,who will prepare your way; ³the voice of one crying out in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight” (NRSV)

Could it be he actually meant Malachi 3:1?

Matthew 2:¹⁴Then Josephgot up, took the child and his mother by night, and went to Egypt, ¹⁵and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfil what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet, ‘Out of Egypt I have called my son.’

Hosea 11:1When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. ²The more I called them, the more they went from me; they kept sacrificing to the Baals, and offering incense to idols.

Well, this one is actually in my bible, but I think Matthew (the alleged gospel writer) may have misunderstood that Hosea was actually referring to the unfaithful children of Israel and the Exodus, never to a faithful Jesus.

John 7:³⁸He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Ok, I can't seem to find this anywhere in the bible. You would think if anyone knew...

Matthew 1: ²²Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, ²³Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Now, let us read the KJV of Isaiah 7:14 (Which is where this prophecy is found):

Isaiah 7:¹⁴Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Ok, everything checks out and seems fine. Now, let us try the New Revised Standard Version:

Isaiah 7:¹⁴Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel.

ha‘almah, a feminine noun with a definite article, "the young woman." This noun has traditionally been translated as "virgin," but research reveals that more likely it means "a young woman of marriageable age" (i.e., old enough to bear a child) without any specific indication of whether or not she is a virgin. This is reflected in most modern translations.

So it seems that for years the verse of Isaiah has been mistranslated. If you were to look at most modern translations, you'll notice that they too followed suit, and corrected the error.
